Everything you need to know if you choose waxing

No one wants to feel unwell, be it a woman or a man, and when that feeling of carelessness is due to the hair from unwanted areas it becomes an irritating state. A good hygiene involves not only a shower, but also the removal of unwanted hair. Hair removal with traditional wax has been practiced since ancient times, the method being discovered by the Egyptians. Used by women in the social middle class, waxing with traditional wax was considered a royal ritual, but still accessible. The women was waxed once in their lives when they were married. Today our clinic offer you hair removal services only with quality products. All products are used only once and on a single client. The wax is kept warm at a constant temperature, which prevents the formation of burns in sensitive areas. Treating the skin after epilation is a very important aspect, the skin being very sensitive at that time, which is why we use special oils for soothing and moisturizing the skin.

The hair should be at least half a centimeter long

If you have decided that the method of waxing is the right one for you, then you must take into account that before going to the salon you must let the hair grow up to at least 5 mm for the hands and feet area and 2- 3 mm for the pubic area. The effect will last about two to three weeks.

Waxing makes the hair thicker and stronger - FALSE!This happens when you are using the razor blade. Waxing removes hair from the root and the result can only be a softer hair. If the waxing sessions are more frequent then the hair will grow harder. Hair removal with wax helps in time for the signifiant reduction and thining of hair.

Irritated skin and redness?

It depends on the skin type. Some people with sensitive skin may experience a slight redness of the epilated area and possibly irritation in the first few days. But these are normal reactions and will go away in a few hours or at the latest the next day. However, to speed up the skin healing process, it is advisable to avoid saunas, hot baths or tanning salons. Exfoliating the epilated area regularly helps to prevent the growth of hairs growing under the skin.

Will the wax change the color of my skin? Not at all! Many women fear that the process of pulling the hair will cause a depigmentation of the skin but this is completely false.   However, it is recommended that you do not expose yourself to the sun for at least 24 hours after waxing. If you are exposed to the sun, it is recommended to massage the area with sunscreen to prevent irritation and a possible change in skin tone.

Avoid caffeine-based products, such as coffee, soft drinks or energy drinks, which can sensitize the nerves in the epidermis and make epilation a procedure similar to medieval torture.

Before making a decision on how to get rid of unwanted hair, it is recommended to visit a dermatologist for a routine check-up because there are also contraindications: people suffering from diabetes, kidney disease, liver disease or of the skin (eczema, psoriasis) because there is a risk of infection.
